Winona, Minnesota - Founded by a steamboat captain in 1851, Winona's location on an island in the Mississippi made it a transportation hub and one of the world's richest cities by 1900. This legacy remains in the form of historic buildings and in an ongoing harmony with the river.

Lions Club International- Since 1917, Lions have served the world's population through hard work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. With 1.4 million members serving in more than 44,500 clubs in over 186 countries and geographical areas, Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization. Lions are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually impaired.

LionNet - A network of national and state level service sites called LionNet Nodes. They aim to promote the use of the Internet to members of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service association. Many Lions clubs, districts, multi-districts and programs operate their own Internet websites, this site provides a directory of those resources

Lions District 5m1 - The Lions 5M1 District is located in the Southeastern corner of Minnesota, with more than 2000 members, it is made up of 8 counties namely; Goodhue, Wabasha, Dodge, Olmsted, Winona, Mower, Fillmore and Houston

Winona Sunset Lions Club - The first regular meeting of the Winona Sunset Lions Club was held at Sambo’s restaurant on November 7th, 1977. Lion Mark Swart was elected president of the 26 charter members. Lion Ed Gott and Lion Dave Sauer of the Winona Noon Lions were their Guiding Lights. Regular Membership Meetings are the - 2nd Thursday of the month - except June - July - August. The meeting is at the Elks Lodge on Service Drive in Goodview, Minnesota starting at 6:30 PM.

Winona RiverTown Lions Club - This club was also sponsored by the Winona Noon Lions Club. Winona Rivertown Business Meeting is the second Monday of the month at Sauer Memorial Home, 1635 W. Service Drive, in the downstairs Community Room. Meetings start at 7:00 p.m.  The regular Lions meeting is held the fourth Monday of the month.at Grace Presbyterian Church 222 E Broadway Meetings start at 7:00 p.m.
